About Us

Three Rivers Arts Council is a non-profit organization that has been working in the communities of Wahpeton, ND and Breckenridge, MN and
the surrounding area, since 1995.

Our Mission is to increase awareness of, appreciation for, and involvement with the arts in our community.

3RAC has been in existence since 1995. We have hosted many events, programs, and classes since then. In 2008 we applied for and received our 501c3 non-profit designation. As part of our long-range plan we have developed a gallery on main street in Wahpeton, ND; The Red Door Gallery which has hosted many art exhibits and presentations since it opened in January of 2011.

In 2012 we received a grant from the North Dakota Council on the Arts to hire a consulting firm to evaluate Arts Asset mapping in our community. The asset mapping is now done and the community is behind us to a large degree, as we proceed with our long-range plan for the arts in our area.
